Quechua – chrysoprase necklace [AP08-N407]
OK, my love of green is surfacing again, this time with the phenomenal, distinctive, uber-luxe stone called chrysoprase. Rich, ripe almost apple green these are a little smaller in size than my usual faceted huge slabs, yet are still totally stunning.
The colour is so intense that it would really ‘pop’ when worn with black, white or naturals. In its heart of hearts this piece loves going out to dinner, to formal events and functions where it will be admired for its colour and its shine in a sea of black ties and white pearls.
The stone is really so fabulous that I only used simple, lowkey accents of 12ct goldfill balls. As its length is approximately 17 ½ inches / 44.5cm I have added a 12ct goldfill extension chain to add another 3 inches/ 7cm for those times when you need it.
