Laomedeia – mixed blue gemstone and sterling silver necklace

A wonderful collection of blue gems – aquamarine, amazonite, Peruvian amazonite, chrysocolla, apatite, turquoise – Hubei, chalk - (treated and natural) and jasper (treated) with a touch of sterling silver. The three strands nest casually inside one another and then join into a single strand at the side/back where you don’t need the bulk. The extension chain gives you added flexibility with different necklines too.
This is one you’ll reach for time and time again, as the blue tones will go with just about anything. This works with weekend looks, professional looks and will make you look elegant and modern wherever you go. Just throw it on over your outfit and you won’t need to think about it again until it’s time for bed!
The shortest strand is 20 ¼ inches (51.5cm) but will go as long as 24 ¼ inches (61.5cm) by using the extension chain. The longest strand is 23 ¼ inches (59cm) to 27 ¼ inches (69cm).
Such a bold piece wouldn’t be worn by a shy, retiring wallflower, so I’ve named it Laomedeia, who was an ocean nymph in Greek myth who was known as “leader of the folk”.
